Artist : Pharoah Saunders
Title : Pharoah
Label : India navigation
Year : 1977
Cat no : In 1027
Format : Lp 33rpm
Matrices : IN - 1027 - A / IN - 1027 - B (etched)
VINYL - is graded EXCELLENT and under strong light shows some light sleeve removal hair lines, light scuffs. Both surfaces are clean and retain their shine and lustre. A very clean example.
PLAY TEST - Vinyl plays through without any issues or major faults. No skips, jumps or skips. Some light background static in parts but the audio is clean and clear, and a very nice listen.
LABELS - Are graded EXCELLENT and are clean, no stickers, tears or writing. One or two very faint spindle traces showing very careful previous plays. All print is bold and clear.
SLEEVE - is graded EXCELLENT and is strong, intact and free of splits, tears or writing. Just some minor storage wear but for a US sleeve of this age, then it's in exceptional condition. All text on the spine is legible, and intact. Rear sleeve with pasted on printed sheet, all clean and intact, just some light bubbling at the top. Fantastic shape through out.
Comes in a clean new poly lined INNER sleeve.
Over all a fantastic example of this collectable jazz/ funk masterpiece. This is an original pressing, with dark brown front sleeve, not the later 2008 unofficial release with similar sleeve.
These don't turn up on the market that often, so this is a chance to own a nice clean copy.
