a first pressing of the rare lp "Gunfight at Carnegie Hall" by folk/protest singer PHIL OCHS as released on A&M SP-9010 in 1971 ONLY in Canada. By this point in his career Phil wasn't selling many records so his record company only wanted to release this album in Canada and then (if sales were good) it was going to be released in the US. Well, sales weren't good so it was never released in the US, just in Canada! This is a rare stock copy and not a white label promo. Strange as it may sound stock copies are actually HARDER to find then promos as more copies were apparantly given away to radio stations etc than were actually sold! DESCRIPTION a first pressing of the rare lp "Gunfight at Carnegie Hall" by folk/protest singer PHIL OCHS as released on A&M SP-9010 in 1971 ONLY in Canada.

By this point in his career Phil wasn't selling many records so his record company only wanted to release this album in Canada and then (if sales were good) it was going to be released in the US. Well, sales weren't good so it was never released in the US, just in Canada! This is a rare stock copy and not a white label promo. Strange as it may sound stock copies are actually HARDER to find then promos as more copies were apparantly given away to radio stations etc than were actually sold!

Grading:
the record: excellent condition
the cover: vg++ condition (bit of wear) 

All my lp's have been cleaned on a professional VPI record cleaning machine for more and better listening pleasure!

In an attempt to show the best possible pictures of lp's I am putting up for auction I use a large format scanner. This enables me to provide potential buyers with a GREAT view of the item. Unfortunately the scanner can not contain all of the surface of the lp; a small part of about 1,25 cm/0.5 inch is missing! Payment Returns Delivery About Us

For your protection and mine ALL orders over EURO 25 to Eastern Europe and South America will be sent by REGISTERED airmail which is EURO 6 extra. For other destinations this applies to orders over EURO 50 .

If there is a problem please contact me immediately and I will try to work with towards finding a solution. Returns must be made within 14 after having recieved the item.

all items are sent by priority airmail only and expensive orders by trackable priority airmail so they can be traced in case there is problem. Items are shipped twice a week. Please udnerstand that the mail can be slow sometimes and once a package is sent I have no control over how long it takes to reach a buyer.
