Description
This is a fine original U.S. stereo pressing copy of the third LP by Phil Ochs, a live recording released in 1966. Early in his career, Ochs was a topical folk singer with a cutting sense of humor (viz. "Love Me, I'm a Liberal" here). The performances on this LP were recorded over the winter of 1965-66 in Boston and NYC. Notable about this release is that several poems by Chinese Communist leader Mao Tse-Tung are reproduced (in translation) on the jacket's back cover, below which Ochs asks rhetorically, "Is This the enemy?" The jacket has light ring wear and staining, and the initials of a former owner written in pen on the back cover -- EX(+). The disc is clean with a little light scuffing, and plays with some light surface noise -- EX(-).
I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
