PHIL SPECTOR's WALL OF SOUND SERIES VOLUME TWO
Limited edition 6 single set on phillies records distributed by collectables. Each single pressed on red vinyl, in plain sleeves. Hard cardboard box which contains singles is in very good condition. Singles are unplayed and in like new condition.

"Collectables" records is proud and honored to be the label chosen by Phil Spector to bring back to his millions of fans the great hits he produced between 1962 and 1966 on the Philles label.
Phil Spector was born in New York on December 26, 1940. He moved to Los Angeles in 1953. In 1958 at the age of 17 his first time in a recording studio he wrote - arranged - played - sang and produced a #1 record "To Know Him Is To Love Him" by The Teddy Bears. He developed the trademark "Wall of Sound" on the Philles label which he owned. Phil Spector was the youngest ever to head a record company. By the age of 25 he produced such hit classics as "He's A Rebel" by The Crystals, "Be My Baby" by The Ronettes and "You've Lost That Lovin Feelin" by The Righteous Brothers. He also produced "Every Breath I Take" by Gene Pitney and "I Love How You Love Me" by The Paris Sisters in 1961.
Phil believed that music must be emotional and honest. He strove to create a sound that no one could copy. He created more than that and became a legend in the business he loved and to the people who loved him.
