Up for auction is the limited edition set of 7 LP albums that comprise the long out-of-print “The Phil Woods Quartet/Quintet 20th Anniversary Set” issued by MOSAIC RECORDS, INC.
Mosaic's limited-edition, 7-LP Phil Woods Quartet/Quintet 20th Anniversary Set is a treasure trove for hardcore fans of the alto saxophonist. All the material on this set was previously unreleased; Woods had been saving this material for 20 years and decided to license the tapes to Mosaic to celebrate his band's 20th anniversary. Much of this music is dynamic and exciting, and it will certainly be a welcome addition to the collection of any serious Woods fan.
Catalog number is MQ7-159. The quality and care that go into these Mosaic offerings is well-known among jazz lovers and audiophiles.
CONDITION (Discs): the LPs are in flawless near mint condition, and appear to have never been on a turntable.
PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately there is no box or booklet. The original box and booklet were damaged by exposure to moisture, and had to be discarded. THE RECORDS WERE COMPLETELY PROTECTED INSIDE THEIR ORIGINAL RICE-PAPER SLEEVES, AND WERE NOT ADVERSELY AFFECTED IN ANY MANNER WHATSOEVER. They are as flawless as the day they were originally pressed. As with all my records, your satisfaction is FULLY GUARANTEED.
