Description
Rare 1974 original 45 RPM pressing of Philip James – “Keep On Loving” Part 1 & Part 2 on Longwood Records, catalog number A-1908.
This is a rare and hard-to-find independent label 1970s soul/funk 45 with very limited availability.
The record has been fully play-tested on both sides and plays extremely well. Playback is clean and strong with no skips, no pops, and no scratchy playback. Sound quality is excellent throughout. Please review all photos and play/sound video carefully, as they are part of the description.
Condition
Record Grade: VG++
The vinyl presents very nicely with strong gloss. There may be light handling marks or minor sleeve-type marks visible under bright light, but nothing that affects playback. Both sides play clean, loud, and clear.
Playback:
Fully tested. Plays great from start to finish. No skips. No jumps. No pops. No major surface noise. Clean playback.
Labels:
Labels show well overall with normal age-related wear. Please see close-up photos for exact label condition.
Sleeve:
Comes with generic sleeve as shown in photos. The 45 was found with an old generic cover that shows its age. For those ultra collectors, it will also ship along with the 45.
Important Collector Notes
This is the original Longwood Records 45 pressing, not a reissue. Rarely offered and difficult to find in this condition, especially with clean playback.
Please look closely at all photos and video before purchasing. I try to describe my records honestly and conservatively.
Shipping
This record will be packed very carefully.
The record will be shipped outside of the sleeve to prevent seam splits, placed in a protective sleeve, secured between stiff cardboard pads.
For domestic U.S. shipping, this will ship with:
USPS Priority, full insurance, and signature confirmation.
Due to the value of this record, insurance and signature confirmation are required - but paid by the seller.
