An original early Uk first press 2LP HARVEST progressive rock/folk/psych sampler in immaculate NEAR MINT condition.
RECORD CONDITION: NEAR MINT
All four sides look absolutely superb, there are no surface marks at all and both albums are extremely clean and very glossy and actually look very near brand new apart from a few extremely feint minute hairlines caused by the inner sleeves when removing the vinyl, these albums have obviously only ever had just a few very careful plays in 37 years, the sound quality is amazingly clean and crystal clear with the absolute bear minimum of background hiss/crackle, this is actually almost none at all as these albums basically look and play as new. It would be near impossible to find this excellent rare HARVEST sampler in better playing condition as this copy on offer here.
LABEL CONDITION: EXCELLENT
As this is the original earliest 1st pressing the label rims have the ''GRAMOPHONE CO'' text, the labels are also without the EMI logos which appeared on later pressings. All four labels are excellent and clean although the labels of side 1 & 3 have a few very small stickers attached, these could be removed without damage if you are in the know.
GATEFOLD SLEEVE CONDITION: EXCELLENT
The front/back laminated gatefold sleeve is also in really excellent shape, there are just one or two lamination creases on the front and a tiny round gold sticker attached to the back right corner, other than these very minor imperfections the front and back gatefold is superbly clean and wear free, the inside matt white section is again in excellent clean and bright condition apart from a previous owners name/address written in biro in the top right corner.
The albums come in white poly-lined inner sleeves, both of which are in excellent very clean and tidy condition.
To sum up, this is just a superb condition original 1st pressing that would be hard to beat and will not disappoint.
