Note : musiche e direzione orchestrale di Piero Piccioni. Una bellissima colonna sonora che offre all'ascoltatore la possibilità di avere una maggior conoscenza circa il grande talento del compositore sotto diversi aspetti musicali : i temi sinfonici, le mai banali atmosfere descrittive, ora elegantemente romantiche ora dalla struttura ben ritmata e coinvolgente, il jazz, naturalmente !  Le composizioni sinfoniche : " WALTZ A LA RAVEL ", valzer trascinante e gioioso " CANZONE CLASSICA ", caratterizzata dalla belle note melodiche del pianoforte, " AMANTI CELEBRI " (4'19") e " LOST LIFE " (4'25"), entrambe costruite su un prezioso tessuto musicale. Tra i temi d'atmosfera : " I TRE VOLTI  ", dalle sonorità dolci e romantiche, pur non prive di una certa ritmicità, ben sottolineate dai vocalizzi del coro, " PASSEGGIATA ROMANA " dal timbro determinato che riecheggia a tratti il charleston e altri ritmi Americani degli anni trenta, " NIGHT IN VIA VENETO " dai suoni ben marcati dell'orchestra, vocalizzi femminili e pianoforte elegantemente swing. Infine due brani : il jazz senza compromessi di " NEBULOSA ", sofisticato slow che mette in evidenza pianoforte, contrabbasso e batteria, il raffinato ritmo Brasiliano con belle venature jazz della stimolante " BOSSA NOVA ON THE SAND ".  12 brani.

Notes : music and orchestra Piero Piccioni. An excellent score which allows to the listeners a deeper knowledge of the composer's great talent under different sides such as classical music, unbanal atmospheric themes featuring or elegant romantic tunes or captivating lively rhythmics...and jazz, of course !  The symphonic tracks : " WALTZ A LA RAVEL " enthralling and joyful dance, " CANZONE CLASSICA " with melodious piano notes, " AMANTI CELEBRI " (4'19") and " LOST LIFE " (4'25"), both characterized by a precious musical tapestry.  Among the atmospheric themes : " I TRE VOLTI " sweet and romantic sonorities, though without loss of good rhythmics, well underlined by chorus wordless background vocals, " PASSEGGIATA ROMANA " based on incisive tonalities with echoes of charleston and other American rhythms of the thirties, " NIGHT IN VIA VENETO " rich of lively sounds with female vocalisms and a slightly swinging piano.  Finally jazz music without any compromise on " NEBULOSA ", a sophisticated slow featuring piano, double-bass and drums in prominence and the Brazilian refined sonorities on " BOSSA NOVA ON THE SAND " with an exciting jazz vein.  12 tracks.
