Description

Franck Symphony in D minor 1950 LP (RCA LM 1065) boldly signed in white ink by the French, later American conductor.  We offer with a   5” x 7” vintage French press photograph of Monteux in rehearsal action.

Monteux originally made this recording with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra on the 7th of April 1946.  It was released as a shellac 78 rpm set.  When LP came around in 1950 RCA Victor re-released the recording in a single record.  One of the finest examples of this work, it is a desert island recording for French symphonic  music.

We offer with the album cover which has split edges.  The record is housed in it’s original sleeve.  The record bears a few scratches which look eminently playable if one chose to do so.  That said, with the photograph, this would make an excellent display for your music room, or your office.

Shipping charges include special packaging to insure your record makes it to you in the same condition it shipped.
