RARE ORIGINAL UK METAL BOX TRIPLE VINYL FIRST PRESSING OF THIS LEGENDARY PUNK CLASSIC.
ORIGINAL METAL BOX ISSUE WITH "METAL 1" STICKER ON BASE OF TIN, FOUR WHITE PAPER CIRCULAR INNER RECORD DIVIDERS, AND COPY OF PAPER FLYER OF CREDITS AND TRACK LISTINGS ALL IN RED PRINT, AND INCLUDED AS A BONUS TO THE WINNER WITH THIS SALE IS A PHOTO COPY OF THE VERY RARE NEW MUSICAL EXPRESS FULL PAGE ADVERT FOR THE METAL BOX SET FROM 1st DECEMBER 1979 ISSUE.

RECORDS ONLY GOOD , LOTS OF PLAYS.
PAPER DIVIDERS VERY GOOD
METAL BOX VERY GOOD, TARNISHED AND RUSTY WITH AGE.
Records: The vinyl surface is only good at most. All have had lots of plays and have lots of light surface visible surface marks and scuffs on the records.
The Labels again are only good, lots of aging marks. Classic PIL Black on side 1 and PIL Red on side 2 of each record. There is no writing, and there are no stickers on the labels, but are marked with age and use.
Metal Box: The Metal Box is in good condition, original box, lots of patinisation, very tarnished with rusty marks with age as expected, PIL embossed logo in centre. No dents, very tight fitting air tight lid. Original METAL 1 label on base of tin is totally intact, inside of tin is shiny and very clean.!
Paper Dividers: Four white paper inner dividers are in very good condition and still a tight fit in box.
Paper Flyer: The A5 sized "hand printed" effect paper flyer which has all the track and credit listings is in very good condition. This is a colour PHOTOCOPY of an original.
NME Metal Box Ad: Purely as an added bonus I have included free with this purchase a COLOUR PHOTO COPY of the original Virgin FULL PAGE advertisement from the New Musical Eexpress dated 1/12/1979.
PLEASE NOTE; This is an exact colour photo copy reproduction of the original NME pages numbers 9 and 10, copied onto 2 sheets of approx A3 size paper, the other side has an "our price" record store top 60 album chart from 1979,!! interesting reading !!!!!
