Description

This is the original release  by the singer Johnny Rotten (Lydon) of Public Image LTD. (Limited) Johnny Rotten is best known as the lead singer of the Sex Pistols. In 1979, this second album was released with three 12" vinyl discs in this pressed logo, tin box. This was a very limited release.

 

This box is complete with the original paper insert which is in good condition and the four paper dividers which are perfect- not wrinkled or creased at all and the three 12" discs.

 

The discs are all in mint / excellent condition. I played this only a handful of times in 1980 on a high end turntable. The bass in this recording is astounding by Jah Wobble. The box itself is in the normal tarnished and somewhat oxidized condition that the 34 year old box has these days. There are no dents or dings in it. It also has the original METAL1 sticker on the back. Purchased in NYC in 1979.
