Description
A classic prog rock psych album from the early 70's by the Pink Fairies, Never Never land with rare PVC Outer and a 1st press. A great listen from start to finish.
Both sides of the label: Matrix numbers on the run out are - A: 2383045 A/1 and B: 2383045 B/1 Album Cover and Inner and PVC outer: CONDITION: Record: Labels: EXCELLENTVery clean & unblemished and no massive wear to the spindle hole. A few spindle trails but not massive. Very clean and Tidy. Record: EXCELLENT Some light wisp lines across both sides, no deep scratches marks or buff marks .
Sound of Record: VERY GOOD+ Obviously been played in the 43 years it's been alive but not over played to death. On the run in to tracks, and the quieter parts you can hear some background static but it isn't over powering throughout and has a nice sound generally. There are one or two minor clicks that I noticed when played on headphones but again not noticeable to detract from the overall sound quality, not quite excellent but not far off, hence the VG rating. Cover: VERY GOOD+ This comes with the wraparound cardboard sleeve which has a couple of light creases near the spine and on the cover but it is not faded or torn. Bordering on the excellent side as there are no rips or stains as you can see in the pics. Plastic Cover: VERY GOOD + Very good condition with no splits on spine. On the opening there is about a 1 inch split and the bottom a half inch split but hardly notices. Some light scuff marks across cover but no digs or gouges Inner: VERY GOOD+ The original picture inner with no rips or tears. Some discolouring on reverse one side and one small stain but overall very good and feels nice. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: All my records are played and visully graded by myself. I use a Technics Quartz SL-1210MK2 with an Ortofon Concorde Pro S Catridge and Needle to assess the sound. I undergrade rather than overgrade as I know how gutted you are i you buy a record and it's naff, I have done it myself :-(. All my records will be posted in proessional LP Mailers as well.
Record Collectors Grading system
Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condiition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displayes no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable Good (G) Te record has been played so much that the sound quality has notceably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. Poor (P)The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing
