PINK FLOYD - A MOMENTARY LAPSE OF REASON
Lovely copy of this 1987 Floyd original picture disk rarity
Year/Label : 1987 UK EMI Label number : EMD 1003 Matrix numbers : EMD 1003-P A1, EMD 1003-P B3A lovely copy of this 1987 Pink Floyd picture disc rarity. Completely flat, weighty vinyl with the vinyl art work/picture on both sides of the record in pristine condition. Plays great too, with every track a wonderful listen. No skips, jumps, repeats or distortion though there is the very occasional very light click (and some very light rotational clicking at the beginning of "On The Turning Away" - I counted x16 very light clicks - though close inspection of the vinyl reveals no obvious cause) and any background crackle is only occasional, very background, and never sufficiently intrusive to spoil what is a great listen from start to finish (I have never come across one of these picture disks with no background crackle, by the way). A real "must have" for any serious Pink Floyd collector. Comes with generic plastic wallet/outer sleeve, and I shall house the record in a plain white paper sleeve for added protection during postage.

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.
