Visual grading
The purple has a rich deep colour and the black 'flecks' just makes it even more visually stunning. There are no hairlines or scratches and is in immaculate condition.
Play grading
The audio across both sides is of superb quality and rarely have I heard such clarity and a distinct lack of interference on a bootleg. You would not be blamed for thinking this vinyl was an official release. Even the very quiet 'Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun' plays with incredible depth and barely any 'background'. The classic title track on S2 plays with a sublime quality with only the odd light dust tick. I am just so impressed by this reissue and all tracks play with very impressive audio. There are no loud clicks, pops or jumps at all.
Cover
The glossy cover is in immaculate condition with no shelf wear whatsoever. It is 100% Mint.
The labels
The replica labels are in perfect condition with no markings or spindle wear.
Play tested on my Pro-Ject Essential III Turntable / B&W 684 Speakers
I grade according to "Record Collector" guidelines.
