PINK FLOYD - A Saucerful Of Secrets - Impossibly MEGA RARE 1968 Original UK MONO Vinyl LP.  A genuine Earliest possible FIRST Mono PRESSING with Garrod & Lofthouse Laminate sleeve / 3 Flipbacks / BLUE/BLACK Labels with -1 Matrix / "SOLD IN UK" & 'GRAMOPHONE CO. LTD" Text on labels - it's all there!!

Very Good Condition. No Reserve!

SLEEVE:                     

EX- (Laminate front is in excellent shape with a nice sheen. There is slight creasing at spine edge and a few small creases in the laminate. Excellent clear spine. Excellent firmly secured flipbacks on back cover. Good corners with slight wear only. The only blemish is a name written in black biro - see my photos - near the top of the back cover. This brings the sleeve grading down from what would have been EX. )

INNER:

VINYL:                        

VG- (Test plays as very good and shows minor wear only, with just a few small surface scratches. There is some low level crackle, especially during quieter passages, but the audio is mostly clear and near to excellent. However, there was noticeably more crackle at the start of "SET THE CONTROLS..." and on a couple of occasions I noticed a moment or two of mild distortion. I played the entire LP and there were no jumps at all)

LABELS:                     

EX (Very well preserved. Quite a lot of spindle wear, but still a playable copy.)

GRADINGS

When grading records and CD’s I follow the standard UK grading system as defined by Record Collector Magazine. This is the most widely used guide and respected by Collectors Worldwide.

MINT (M) – Record is in brand new condition. The cover and all extra items are present and in perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX) – The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG) – The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items (without any major defects) is acceptable.

I always grade honestly and accurately and unless a record is extremely rare I never sell anything with a grading below VG-
