Description

PINK FLOYD - ANIMALS - VINYL LP (1977)HARVEST (SHVL 815)

Band: Pink Floyd

Album Title: Animals

Version: UK pressing, gatefold sleeve

Producers: Pink Floyd

Cat Number: SHLV 815

Mode / Speed: Stereo / 33.3 rpm

Country of Manufacture: England

Original Year of Release: 1977

Label/Format: EMI Records – (Harvest)

Label Conditions: Both clean, fresh and attractive with light, mainly quite fine spindle marks with good visibility.

Outside Cover Front: The front, with its iconic ‘Battersea power station with inflatable pig’ image remains a classic. There is ‘edge’ wear along the top, lower & right hand side edge. The colours are strong and with reasonably clear definition.

Outside Cover Back: The back is in good condition. There is evidence of slight fading towards the top, spins and lower edges of the cover.

Spine and Text: Solid and quite straight with virtually no compression with moderate rubbing to both the top/bottom corners. The spinal text is clear and easy to read. Text reads PINK FLOYD ANIMALS - SHLV 815, which is printed clearly.

Corners: Moderate rubbing to all, good shape is retained.

The Inner Sleeve: original inner card sleeve with lyrics. Condition is in good with only slight evidence of ring wear.

Vinyl Condition/Visual Grading: GOOD: a fine visual copy that is clean, shiny, intense black and solidly pressed. There are some mainly light surface marks but NO penetrating scratches.  There are 'pops/clicks' to be heard mainly on the 1st track of side 1. Otherwise the disc plays well.

Warps: Assume all records I offer have no warping of any significance and all tracking is easy and effortless and should play on all turntables, even ‘budget’ decks.

Brief Info: Animals is the tenth studio album by English progressive rock group Pink Floyd, released in January 1977

TRACK LIST:

Side 1: Pigs On The Wing 1 / Dogs
