PINK FLOYD ARNOLD LAYNE ULTRA RARE ORIGINAL FRENCH EP
According to popsike only 3 copies of this record has been sold on eBay last year. This item is for serious Pink Floyd collectors only: it's one of the rarest 7" you can still get your hands on.
This is a three-song EP that includes the song Interstellar Overdrive, recorded at EMI Studio Three on February 27, 1967, and mixed (5') for this EP on March 22, 1967, a different version from the one on Piper at the gates of dawn (9' 41"). This version has been unavailable elsewhere for the past 40 years (!!!!)
In fact, the original master of this cut was lost somewhere and the actual recording of this version of IO for
the Patgod reissue has been recorded from this ep (not my copy though ;-))
THIS IS NOT the 80's press, it has a nice bright red paper label (see scans) as opposed to the silver plastic
one.
Front laminated cover overall condition is VG+, light ring wear, spine is intact, corners have seen better days,
there are 2 small wtritings and trace of celltotape along left side.
On top rigth corner you have ESFR 1857 circled M print whereas on opposite corner there's the famous Photo X... credit.
Vinyl is graded VG+, nice gloss (graded e visually), some clicks, a couple of light surface marks
matrix M3 252951 7TCA 10350 21 on A side and M3 252952 7TCA 10351 21 on flip
Label is immaculate on flip whereas it presents a ring manufacturer fault on the other side.
