Description
Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my 60’s beat and psych and some 70’s progressive records that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, a very rare first U.K. pressing of Pink Floyd – Atom Heart Mother on the Harvest label, cat. no. SHVL 781, with NO EMI box on the label.
The record is in VG++ condition, there are some non-sounding hairlines. The labels are in VG++ condition as well, there are a some spindle marks and on both sides there is a very tiny bald spot around the spindle hole. The matrix numbers on both sides end with 1-G, indicating the very first pressing of this album.
The cover is in VG+ condition, there are some age browning spots on both front and back, there is a small scratch on the cow’s head on the front and there is some very faint ring wear on the back. Further there is some handling and storage wear along the top and bottom seam and the spine has some bald spots, but is still fully legible. Besides mentioned imperfections, this cover is still very presentable; no writing, no rips or tears or other unwanted damage.
This is an extremely rare 1st UK pressing of Pink Floyd’s 5th album, Atom Heart Mother and although not in a dream mint condition, this copy is still very presentable and enjoyable. This record is very difficult to find as an original first pressing without the EMI box on the label so this is your chance to own a very rare progressive / psychedelic record. Happy Bidding!
