Description

For instant sale is an excellent condition copy of a rarely-seen US pressing from 1981 of the 'DARK SIDE OF THE MOON' album by PINK FLOYD.  It is on the MOBILE FIDELITY SOUND LABS label, has the catalogue number MFSL 1-017 and is part of their 'ORIGINAL MASTER RECORDINGS' series.  Mastered at half speed from the original stereo master tape and pressed on high quality vinyl these records are renowned for their sound quality.  The record comes with the original static and dust-free inner sleeve.  The thick card glossy sleeve is in excellent condition with just a bit of cornerwear and edgewear which can be seen particularly in photos 7 and 11.  Photo 11 shows that the wear, although short in length, has actually formed a small split in the sleeve edge.  Please study all the photos carefully to see the condition for yourself.   The labels are in excellent condition with hardly any 'spindle trails' showing that the record has not been played very often.  The record surfaces are also in excellent condition with hardly any surface marks. The record plays superbly with only occasional light surface noise.  Definitely no deep scratches, 'sticks' or 'jumps'.  However, there are a few 'clicks' at the start of 'Us and Them' on side 2 but, even with those, I think you would be hard-pressed to find a better example of this superb album.  The album will be wrapped in bubblewrap before posting to ensure that it does not get damaged on its journey.  I will dispatch it in a proper record mailer and will post within one working day of purchase by First Class 'tracked' post so that it gets on its way to you as soon as possible.
