PINK FLOYD - DARK SIDE OF THE MOON - RARE UK 1ST PRESSING - SOLID BLUE TRIANGLE: This is your chance to bid on this fantastic rarity from the legendary PINK FLOYD. For sale here is the 1st UK pressing of the groups most famous album "DARK SIDE OF THE MOON". The album was released on 24 March 1973 on the HARVEST label. The first pressings are the only ones that have the SOLID BLUE triangle design on the label. It was found that this original design made it extremely difficult to read the silver label text. Later pressings changed the design to a triangle with just a blue outline. This is one of the great PINK FLOYD rarities & a must have for all true collectors. The first UK pressing of one of greatest albums of all time. Tracklisting: Side One:

- At the start of Side 1 there are some very small scratches that cause audible clicks as the track "Speak To Me" starts. These clicks stop after a few seconds.
- There are some marks on track 1 of Side 2, "Money". Again they cause a few clicks but only for a short time.
- The record is now 40 years old & so one would expect some pops & clicks.
Apart from the above faults the vinyl is in fantastic condition.
LABELS: The labels are in excellent condition. There is some slight spindle wear. INNER SLEEVE: The inner sleeve is in very good condition. There is some minor creasing. It has the wavy top & polythene lined die cut black semi matt paper with white printed text stating two patent numbers in the bottom left corner - 112555 & 1072844 - and 'MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN' in the bottom right hand corner. SLEEVE: The sleeve is in very good condition. Due to the age of the item (& the matt finish), there are some noticeable marks & rubs to the front and back cover. There are some scratches to the front of the sleeve where the blue print has been removed & some scratches to the bottom edge of the rear of the sleeve. There is also some edge & corner wear & slight ring wear. I have photographed these faults but overall the sleeve is still great for it's age. This iconic gatefold sleeve was manufactured by GARROD & LOFTHOUSE. Both of the sides of the gatefold are open. The sleeve has the blue hue that only came with the first pressings. POSTERS: The 2 posters are in excellent condition. There is a very small split on the left hand edge of the Pyramid poster on the middle crease - see detail photo below. STICKERS: type 1 stickers with the horizontal straight lines and FAST PRINT PERMANENT CRACK BACK PATENTED stamped on the back. They are in excellent condition.
