Description

Here we have a rare early pressing of Dark Side Of The Moon by Pink Floyd.It has the rare "solid prism" label.This LP belonged to my uncle who was something of a hi-fi buff.He only played the record once (to put it onto tape) then stored it away in a record case,where its been ever since.His record deck was a Linn Sondek,so we are talking high quality.I wont list the album tracks as everbody knows them.The gatefold cover has some very minor storage wear on the top and bottom edge,otherwise is in super condition.The polylined inner,the two posters and two postcards are also in remarkable condition for their age.The record itself,because it was only been played once on a hi quality hi-fi,is therefore near new.The matrix numbers are SHVL 8C4 A-2 and SHVL 8C4 B-2.I work part-time in a record shop that sells vinyl,and we have sold quite a few copies of this LP (though not with the prism label) and this is easily the best condition one I have come across,and it has the solid prism label.Record Collector 2008 lists a mint copy of this album at £200 so my starting price reflects this fact,plus the condition of this copy.If you have any qustions I will be happy to try to answer them.Please note,although I have put a basic postage rate on this album,because of the nature of its collecability,I would expect to send it recorded or special delivery to the winning bidder,so the postage will be more.Bear that in mind if you decide to bid.
