Description

This is a rare LP, it's 'Dark Side of the Moon' by The Pink Floyd on the original UK Harvest label from 1973 (catalogue no. SHVL 804). the gatefold sleeve is in fine condition with some wear along the edges and the spine. It is not the blueish version of the cover but is black in colour. The edge of the front cover is sealed, not open. The sleeve has been graded as Ex--. There are two posters which are in great condition and these have been graded Ex+/Ex+. There are no stickers. The record is the rare version with the solid light blue triangle label with black background. It's been well played and there are definite spindle marks on both labels. The matrix numbers on the run-off grooves are - side one - SHVL 804 A-2 (stampers - 5 GGG) and - side two - SHVL 804 B-2 (stampers - CCA). Side one plays really well with minimal surface noise although there are some visual surface marks. On side two there is a definite mark on track two which plays through perfectly OK on my turntable but does show up as slight distortion. I have graded the record as VG++. The record is housed in the original black, lined inner bag. I don't think the winner of the auction will be disappointed. This record is becoming very rare now and copies of the solid blue triangle label version are beginning to dry up. Everything I list is fully guaranteed.
