Visual grading
The vinyls have obviously hardly been played and I can only detect a little spindle wear on Side Three.  All four sides have a lustrous sheen and look like new such is their incredible quality.  They have been preserved so well which is a rarity for this LP when you consider it is now nearly 30 years old.  There are no scratches and only a couple of small faint wispy hairlines only caused by sleeve removal.
Play grading
'Shine On...' plays with stunning audio with only the odd dust tick here and there during the first two minutes.  They are so much in the background they are hardly worth mentioning really.  I sit very close to the speakers so as to pick up every 'sound' but the quality here is just immense.  The remainder plays practically as Mint such is the standard.  Play this track loud with the lights off and it's like you're there!  This is a stunning start to the LP, the deep bass and sonic quality on this classic track is incredible.  'Learning To Fly' quite simply plays as Mint and the clarity is astounding, I do not think I have heard better.  The remainder of the side plays to the same standard with just the odd dust tick.  Wow!
Again there is some light static at the start of Side Two.  'Sorrow' then plays with great quality and no other 'background'.  'The Dogs of War' plays with stunning power and whilst the intro to 'On The Turning Away' has a little static the remainder of this classic track plays with incredible clarity and depth of sound.  The legendary guitar solo at the end is just breathtaking and is definitely the best 'solo' I have heard on this live album.
The intro to 'One of These Days' has barely any static and then plays with superb precision and depth of sound.  It's worth repeating, play it loud and shut your eyes it's just like you are there!  The quality of the recording is so 'high end' and it still plays like new.  Again the 'Time' intro is just stunning and has no interference whatsoever.  The rest of the track plays with the same quality as indeed does the rest of the side.  There is no way to describe it other than Mint the clarity and lack of 'background' is just incredible.  It's another wow!
The quiet 'Wish You Were Here' intro on Side Four has an almost imperceptible amount of static and plays with stunning clarity as does the whole track.  This is possibly the best live version of this classic track I have heard.  'Comfortably Numb' plays as Mint with no 'background' and the iconic solo is just immense with no distortion whatsoever.  It is just spine tingling (!) and emanates from the speakers with fantastic depth and force!  'Run Like Hell' does not disappoint and plays with Mint audio, great bass levels again, and is a fitting end to this classic album.
This is one of my favourite live albums of all time as the recording and production levels are just so good and the fact that these vinyls have never been played before means you are getting a final upgrade, archive LP for certain.  The audio is just immaculate and is the best I have heard on this amazing album.
Gatefold cover
The gatefold is in excellent order and only has minor shelf wear.  Three of the edges are extremely clean with barely any wear and only the bottom edge of the front cover has some rubbing.  The wide spine is in superb condition with just some rubbing at the bottom.  The two top right corners also have a little rubbing but it is minimal and both of the opening edges appear practically untouched.  The actual front and back covers are very clean with no marks and the inside of the gatefold is pristine.
Lyric inners
Nothing to say other than Mint!  There are no splits etc and look as good as when released back in 1988.
Labels
They are in immaculate condition with no marks/writing and only the S3 label has a minimal amount of spindle wear.
