PINK FLOYD The Dark Side Of The Moon UK 1ST PRESS SOLID BLUE TRIANGLE DISC IN EXCELLENT PLUS, large 1st version title sticker and rare earliest version MATTE FINISH posters.
Classic UK first press with solid blue triangle labels, complete with tint large stickered sleeve, matte paper posters & postcard stickers in superb condition
Description:
An original UK first pressing of The Dark Side Of The Moon, released in 1973 on the Harvest label, catalogue number SHVL 804.
This is a genuine first press featuring the highly desirable solid blue triangle labels, with “The Gramophone Co. Ltd…” perimeter text and “Made in Gt. Britain” at the bottom and A2/B2 matrix.
The set is complete with both original earliest version posters on mate finish paper stock (quickly replaced by the more common gloss finish posters) and the two 'Permanent' original postcard stickers, all correct for a first press. Also includes the original black poly-lined inner sleeve.

Disc Visual Grade: EXCELLENT PLUS!
In good natural light the record has a superb deep-gloss with no scratches or marks to visible. Under direct strong and unforgiving halogen spotlight only a handful of surface hairlines can be detected from sleeve removal. A superb visual example of a difficult record to find in such condition. The labels are clean the disc sits completely flat on the turntable without warping or dishing. Beautiful! The disc has been play graded in full and plays superbly, no loud obtrusive pops, no repeat clicks and obviously no skips or sticks at this top grade. No factory skip on ‘Money’ as was the case on some of the 1st pressings. A real treat for fans of Dark Side of the Moon looking for a much sought-after high grade condition 1st UK pressing with 1st A-2/B-2 matrices and original and short-lived 'solid blue triangle' labels. DO NOT MISS!
Sleeve Grade: EXCELLENT!
The 1st press 'midnight blue' gatefold sleeve is in fantastic condition with mild storage wear only. The spine is sharp, straight and unworn. Sharp unworn edges. Obviously no rips, splits, pen or stains throughout. A fantastic 1st press 'midnight blue' tint sleeve with original and sought after large 1st version 67mm purple title sticker which was not present on all 1st presses.
Inner: EXCELLENT PLUS! Nice and clean with no rips or stains, and the lining is fully intact. Superb!
Posters: Both NEAR MINT! Nice and clean and flat with no rips, stains, pen, or pin marks. Superb condition and beautiful on the original matter paper finish not often seen.
Postcard Stickers: Both 1st press stickers are unused, EXCELLENT PLUS!
