Description:

Embark on a rare auditory journey with this 1st UK Press of Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" and experience the studio masterpiece in its original form. The A2/B2 matrix confirms its 1st press status, ensuring an authentic listen. This really is a fine collectors piece including all of the original components. Included in this auction are both posters, 1st version Fasprint Crackback postcard sticker, original inner sleeve and iconic cover in all its glory.

Disc Visual Grade: EXCELLENT!

The disc sits completely flat on the turntable with no warping or dishing. In good natural light the record exhibits a glossy and clean appearance without marks or scratches. Under strong focused halogen spotlight, a small amount of light hairlines can be seen. Very nice!

 

Audio Grade: EXCELLENT!

The record plays through without issue. Obviously no skips, sticks or repeat clicks at this high grade. No factory skip on 'Money'. Light background crackle in some quiet passages only, including the long heartbeat intro which soon subsides. Overall a fantastic 1st pressing true analogue listening experience. 


Sleeve Grade: EXCELLENT!
Mild storage wear and signs of handling only. Clearly no splits, tears, pen, stains or sticker marks. Clean on the inside gatefold. Nice! 


Inner: EXCELLENT PLUS! Original black poly-lined inner sleeve has no splits, rips or stains, light signs of handling only! 


Posters: EXCELLENT! Both posters are unused with have no rips, stains, pen, or pin marks.


Postcard Stickers: NEAR MINT! Both 1st press 'Crack-back' stickers are unused and clean.
