Description

For sale is the very rare and totally original UK LP by PInk Floyd, DARK SIDE OF THE MOON with the SOLID BLUE triangle, this is the 1st pressing in stereo released in 1973 with the Gramaphone CO. Ltd. rim label credits, and the gramaphone Company (p)credit. Matrix numbers are on side 1 :- SHVL 804 A  and side 2 :- SHVL 804B. Stamper codes are  side 1 :- SHVL A-2  (5 GAP)  and side 2 GHVL B-2 (3 CDO). This is one of the rarest Floyd albums and comes complete with posters and stickers, the sleeve is in MINT ++ condition and has no wear on the spine at all. I bought this album from new and have only played it on the very best cartridges and turntables. I have not played this album for at least 30 years and will be sorry to let it go,but needs must. The overall condition of the vinyl is as bright as the day I bought it with not even a blemish on side 1, this would be classed as mint to almost faultless, the same can be said for side 2 apart from a light mark across track 3, this has been there since I bought the LP and in no way interferes or detracts from the superb sound quality when played, apart from this mark this LP is Mint + +. There are a few light spindle marks but these are hardly visible. Posters and labels are in mint condition. The rare 1st pressings have a distinctive innersleeve which is a lined matt black with the patents text and Made In Great Britain in Silver Print.

This is the original first pressing from 1973 with the solid blue triangle on  the EMI Harvest Label, pressed on THICK quality vinyl. All you FLOYD fans out there who want this album need look no further, here is a fine example of FLOYD at there very very best. Good Luck and Happy Bidding.
