HERE WE HAVE A SUPERB, UK HARVEST (SHVL 804) EARLIEST SECOND PRESSING (still retaining the first issue matrix) OF PINK FLOYD'S LEGENDARY AND ICONIC, "The Dark Side Of The Moon" LP, COMPLETE WITH BOTH POSTERS AND BOTH STICKERS AND ALL IN BEAUTIFUL CONDITION (this copy actually contains two of the band posters - one matte and the other glossy)

SECOND PRESS CRITERIA:
Cover: Gatefold. Very dark blue cover with prism, and the front LEFT edge of the gatefold factory sealed (but there is no fold-over)
Inserts:Posters: A blue pyramid poster. There is no catalog number on the poster & A six-pane group shot poster in landscape style with "SHVL 804" in the bottom right corner
Inserts:Stickers: Two Pink Floyd self-adhesive stickers, one yellow and one brown. Matte. The backing paper is white with 45 degree angled diagonal stripes of dark brown from the top to bottom, and "FasPrint Permanent," and "Crack Back Patented." on the paper. There are no catalog numbers on either sticker.
Label: Black Harvest label with blue outline prism. At the bottom of the label it says "Made in GT Britain." Text around the top edge of the label starts at 10 o'clock and says: The Gramophone Co., Ltd. All rights of the manufacturer and of the owner of the recorded work reserved. Text around the bottom edge of the label starts at 8 o'clock and says: Unauthorized public performance, broadcasting, and copying of this record prohibited
Inner Sleeve: Die-cut black poly-lined inner sleeve with "Made in Great Britain" and patents text in silver

MARTIX: SHVL 804 A-2 / SHVL 804 B-2 (earliest second pressing)
MOTHERS/STAMPERS: 5/GOD and 3/GLA

LABELS: The custom outline prism HARVEST labels are in GREAT condition with NO wear, NO writing and moderate spindle traces only really evident when angled under a bright light
VINYL Visual: Both surfaces retain their original DEEP, GLOSSY SHEEN. The surfaces themselves are practically unmarked but there are some marks around the very edges of the record (on the run-in groove) but these have no audio consequence
VINYL Audio: SUPERB - CRYSTAL CLEAR, SHARP, STRONG and VIBRANT SOUND - BEAUTIFUL RICH AUDIO. Pink Floyd's soundscapes cover an AMAZING dynamic range from the loudest crescendos to the almost silent ambient details which makes it difficult to find early pressings which will play without excessive click/pops and/or surface noise but this copy plays BEAUTIFULLY throughout. There are NO scratches, NO skips/jumps, barely any clicks (really, hardly ANY) and the album plays up to an extremely high standard with BEAUTIFUL CLARITY, NO groove-wear and NO distortion. FANTASTIC COPY OF THIS ICONIC LP. Must be critically graded EXCELLENT+ and NOT over-graded in ANY way as I use STRICT RECORD COLLECTOR grading standards (please refer to my feedback and 'about me' page). A TREMENDOUS COPY OF THE EARLIEST SECOND PRESSING WHICH SOUND STUNNING THROUGHOUT!!
SLEEVE: The GATEFOLD cover is also in GREAT condition. CLEAN and FRESH with minimal 'rubbing' and only light edge wear. The spine is SHARP with NO creases and of course nothing written on it
POSTERS & STICKERS: The 2 posters and 2 stickers are all unused and are also in SUPERB condition (as mentioned earlier there are two copies of the band poster included - one matte and one glossy)
INNER SLEEVE: The black poly lined inner is also in VERY NICE condition with NO splits and only light handling creases. It has a small tear on the centre die-cut section where it has caught on the sleeve on insertion. I will post the LP in a new inner sleeve to avoid any 'knifing' damage to the original during transit. NOTE: I would personally never put the vinyl in this inner sleeve as it has a tendency to leave plastic reside on the vinyl if left untouched for any period of time
