Original & complete 1st UK pressing of Pink Floyd - The Dark Side if the Moon LP from March, 1973. Solid blue 1st press labels. 1st press 'midnight blue' tint sleeve that seals on the front panel as per 1st press sleeves. This version, like some early pressings from this album, is with the 67mm Pink sticker on the sleeve.

. The set is complete with all inserts - both posters, both postcard stickers and the original black poly-lined inner sleeve. The two postcard stickers are 1st press „ Crack Back“ versions and the black die-cut Innersleeve, has the patent numbers and 'MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN' printed on as-per 1st press sets. All parts are original.

The vinyl looks like near Mint ! with only an extremely fine short micro line that can only be seen on the surface in the shine of the vinyl, neither heard nor felt! The LP has only been played a few times at most and has been absolutely fantastically cared for. Just look at the photos in detail, Amazing ! The labels are fresh and clean !

The playback also grades NEAR MINT! . It's a AMAZING player, the all-important 'Heartbeat' intro plays nice and quietly, and without the crackle which is otherwise the case with many recordings. The individual instrument solos and vocals sound fantastic. The bass is crisp, tight and powerful. One of the best sounding first pressings of this masterpiece I've ever heard.

This is a great player and it is rare to find a 1st press DSotM that also plays so FANTASTIC! There are no playback issues to report, no pops, no clicks, and no skips. The 1st press 'midnight blue' tinted sleeve grades EXCELLENT ++with only light signs of handling/storage, very nice indeed! Both posters have no tears, folds, tape marks or pin holes NEAR MINT! Both postcard stickers are unused NEAR MINT! Posters and postcards look absolutely fresh and as if they had just been unfolded! The original black inner cover is something spliced on the sides, as shown in the two photos. Otherwise very clean and without markings. But I think given the fantastic condition of the vinyl, this is a bit negligible

PACKING

Special German made extra-stiff Cardboard Box designed for multiple LPs are used, even for single LP packages. The boxes are oversized and thus provide extra corner protection as well as great stiffness to the package. Additional protection may also be used when found nessesary, such as stiffeners, bubble-wrap, extra corner-protection. I do not charge anything for packing materials.

GRADINGS

MINT(-) is as close to new as a used LP can get, unplayed or played 1-2 times at most with no visual signs of use on surfaces.

MINT- is superb !!! .No marks, scratches, clicks, noise, or anything else. All minor blemishes will be mentioned in the individual descriptions.

EX or EXCELLENT is also VERY nice, a few extrem light inaudible marks/ Mikrolines perhaps, no disturbing noise, great sound quality.

VG+ is nice with light hairlines, a few marks maybe. Please see individual notes in case of VG+ or lower gradings.
