PINK FLOYD LP

"THE PIPER AT THE GATES OF DAWN"

Original UK very 1st pressing 1967, with laminated flip-back sleeve, printed and made in England by Ernest J. Day Ltd, omits "File under pop" from top right corner on reverse. Released on the blue/black Columbia Records label, with "The Gramophone Co Ltd" rim text, "Sold in UK" & "Made in Gt. Britain" label text, has "KT" embossed on label side 1. A mono recording, the disc comes in the original EMI advertising inner sleeve showing Hermans Hermits, Beatles etc. The album was produced by Norman Smith.

CAT.NUMBER:- SX 6157.  MONO.

MATRIX NUMBERS:- XAX 3419-2 & XAX 3420-1.

STAMPERS:- 1 G on both sides indicating a very 1st pressing.

CONDITION.

The Sleeve is in superb shape, condition is Excellent++.

Inner Sleeve is in Excellent minus condition.

The Labels, side 1 is near to Mint, side 2 is Excellent++.

The Vinyl is extremely clean and glossy, by no means an overplayed record, there are quite a lot of ultra fine inner sleeve lines and some small light marks, nothing feelable or audible, I have carefully graded this disc at Visually Very Good+ condition/Aurally mostly Excellent with exception to faint crackle is some places only.

Classic 1960's British Psych Album.
