Description

This rare first press of "More" is in great condition for 45 years old.  There are a few very faint hairlines and only one fine scratch on tracks 4,5 and 6 on Side One but honestly this is the cleanest first press I have seen.  Side Two in particular is in excellent condition.  It still has that glossy sheen of a new record and any avid collector would be happy to own this.  I am perhaps over critical in my own grading but this truly is a great first press.
Being a first press it does of course have the green tinted flipback cover on the reverse with the couple facing west.   The cover is in excellent condition - being laminated it does have a few creases on the front but I defy anyone to find one that hasn't!  The reverse again has been well looked after with only minor wear and slight creasing.  The flipback is especially clean and has no tears at all.  On the upper right flipback it says "File Under Popular: Film and Shows" and on the lower right flipback it says "6907 TPS Printed and made by Garrod&Lofthouse Ltd. Patent No.943,895 SCX 6346."
The spine is strong and clearly legible and it still has a clean opening edge.  An excellent example of this iconic first press cover and no doubt is one of the better ones you will find.
It comes complete with the original inner sleeve with the EMI logo and with "Add these outstanding LPs to your collection" at the top including The Beatles-Sgt. Peppers and Piper At The Gates Of Dawn.
The black Columbia labels has the white text and white bold EMI logo and white bold Columbia logo at the top.  The only downside is that the original owner put a 'silver star' on each for some reason.

I would grade Side One as Ex
Side Two is Ex+
The cover is Ex
The labels are Ex
The inner is Ex (just creasing, no splits or tears)
