ATTENTION!
St*neyBl*ke / Mint-Minus Records is currently using a KEITH MONKS 'Prodigy' professional record-cleaning machine to enhance the vinyl service. The Prodigy is the latest model of record-cleaning machine (available for the first time in 2020), from the World-renowned Keith Monks company and is already receiving excellent reviews in the HI-Fi press. The machine has been acquired in order to increase the quality of the vinyl that is sold through this site to the highest level possible, and the machine does give excellent results.
What difference does this make to the records that are advertised here?
From this point on ALL vinyl that I sell will have been cleaned using this machine, combined with a specially formulated KEITH MONKS or ART DU SON record-cleaning solution made from pure bio-degradable ingredients.
PROCEDURE
1) Firstly the disc will be cleaned as described above 2) The disc will then be FULLY play-graded, to enable an accurate grading for the advert. I am happy to offer this service. This is done on a very high quality Linn Sondek turntable fitted with a £100 Goldring Moving-magnet cartridge.
Gradings are made according to the Record Collector Magazine grading system.
For sale here is the increasingly hard to find US export version of the seventh Pink Floyd album, originally released on 2 June 1972. This rare mid 70's contract pressing for the UK was possibly made to cope with the demand for Pink Floyds back catalogue after the success of 'Dark Side Of The Moon', and is the only version to have the A-3/B-3 matrix in the runouts. The vinyl was pressed by 'Sonic Recording Products, Inc' in the USA and then presumably sent to the UK where it was put into UK manufactured sleeves. Only 11 copies of this version have sold in the last 10 years on Dicsogs, and none in the last 2. Furthermore only 1 copy is currently advertised on that site. The soft textured sleeve has become difficult to find in very good condition, so here is a sleeve that is in 'very good plus' condition!

With some quiet passages, and being over 50 years old it would be very difficult to find a pressing with so little surface noise and background crackle as this.
Stereo - Excellent production and dynamics. Great on the HI-fi.
DISC: VG+ // No skipping or sticking / not warped / not worn on either side / labels clean / Pressed on centre / Some light surface scuff marks / Test played very well with slight backround crackle / no other issues.
SLEEVE: VG+ // opening edge top corner has a crease / no ring wear
There has been a careful repair to a small split in the spine which has also strengthened it. Some of the text on the spine is incomplete (please refer to the photograph)
