relisted due to a non-paying 'buyer' :(
PINK FLOYD Obscured By Clouds LP on the EMI label from 1972 (SHSP 4020).
this is the first U.K. pressing that was withdrawn due to audio faults.
it has SHSP 4020 A-1 / SHSP 4020 B-1 in the dead wax.
record has been cleaned on an Okki Nokki and play tested.
it has a slight wobble on the turntable - not a warp, it's just not 100% true.
it's not really that noticeable.
there's one very faint surface mark on Side Two but it's clean otherwise.
Side One:
there's some surface noise at the start of the side but it does settle down quite quickly.
there are a number of brief skips that occur during the last section of Obscured By Clouds.

i'm using a Rega P2 deck to play test these albums and it's quite sensitive.
other decks may cope with these skips better and it may be possible to adjust the weight of the tone arm - i haven't tried on mine.
there's some low surface noise between tracks but it's a decent listen otherwise.
Side Two:
there's some surface noise at the start of the side and one more skip during Childhood's End, plus some surface noise between tracks.
i'm going to play it safe and grade the records as GOOD due to the skips. it's not a bad listen otherwise though, more like a VG.
the sleeve has shelf wear and corner wear and there's one tiny nick on the spine.
the inner sleeve has yellowed with age.
i would grade them both as GOOD.
more records listed - i can combine orders for U.K. buyers...
