Description

This auction is for a vintage stereo UK edition LP of: THE PINK FLOYD, THE PIPER AT THE GATES OF DAWN, Columbia SCX 6157. The vinyl is VG+, with some very light scratches, barely audible & a fantastic, enjoyable listen in stereo. Engraved in the matrix / runout: Side One: YAX 3419- 2, Side Two: YAX 3420-2 The cover is clean with no splitting but has a few creases.  
Notes: I've researched the Discogs site & found: 
Cover: I believe that the cover is the original Columbia UK Stereo edition. as I've researched the Discogs site & found:  Released: September 1967 UK
Front Cover: Laminated, flip-back sleeve design.

Back Cover: The top right part of the flip-back is blank. It does NOT read "File under POPULAR : Pop Groups". A cover containing this is a repress. Back cover includes title, credits, and song listing. Catalog number in upper right corner. Un-laminated.
Vinyl: I believe that the vinyl is actually the 1969 Columbia UK 2nd. issue:
Black label with silver text, white EMI logo in small rectangle at bottom, and white "Columbia" in large rectangle with lines on each side at top. 
Text around the top edge of the label starts at 8 o'clock and says: The Gramophone Co., Ltd. All rights of the manufacturer and of the owner of the recorded work reserved. Unauthorised public performance, broadcasting, and copying of this record prohibited. 
Text around the bottom edge of the label starts at 6 o'clock and says: Made in GT Britain.
