Vinyl VG++ / Cover VG+
A very nice vinyl copy of Pink Floyd’s first album, recorded at Abbey Road Studios in 1967. This is one of the top psychedelic albums ever made. This is also the best recording Syd Barrett ever made, and one of the best English rock albums of the later 1960s, up there with Sgt. Pepper’s (recorded at the same time at Abbey Road).
Condition:
The Cover: The front cover is beautiful with no ring wear and great color: it is frameable. The spine is excellent. The back has some ring wear, age speckling and a number written (see the photo). The cover overall is very nice and has no splitting at all. A small hole was punched above the tower logo (see front cover).
The Vinyl: is excellent. It has some very light marks only visible in bright light. It is clean and shiny. It plays great with some occasional background noise. No scratches, skips, or ticks. The original plain inner sleeve is a bit shabby (I'll include a nice new one). The striped labels mean it’s a 1969 Tower pressing.
