Description

• Disc condition: VG+ The disc is flat to the deck no dishing or warping evident. Has moderate spindle wear, played but looked after. Clean labels. K/T tax credit embossed on side 1 label. Visually with some hairlines, and some smaller scratches and a couple of needle drops. The very beginning of side 1 has a couple of light ticks for about 3 revolutions then its gone and we are tracking the disc at 1.5g. Over all, it plays as VG+ with a punchy audio and minimal crackle and some occasional clicks.

• Sleeve condition: VG - Ernest J Day & Co Ltd laminated glossy front sleeve with back flapbacks. Does not have the "File under Popular" credit at top corner of back sleeve indicating a first pressing. The front sleeve displays some creasing but the colours are still as vivid as original issued. The back sleeve displays a little yellowing in places, and a name written faintly top corner. The spine lettering is mostly legible. Has light wear to corners and 1" at bottom edge. Light r/w on front cover. Would grade it as VG(+).

• Matrix/stampers: XAX 3419-2 1 M XAX 3420-1 1 T

• This is the rare UK first mono pressing from 1967. The top right part of the flip-back is blank. It does NOT read "File under POPULAR : Pop Groups".Track 1 on side reads as one line indicating it's the first pressing. Comes complete with the correct cream and black EMI co printed inner paper sleeve. Played and looked after, no visually disturbing features. Over all, a decent copy!
