The important things:

VINYL GRADING: THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE 1ST PRESSING!

STUNNING NEAR MINT w/only the slightest hint of a few very short whisper lines from being removed from the inner sleeve.  The LP maintains a "just-pressed" look and it retains full-sheen.  It has been in storage and basically untouched since purchased new in 1967.  Purchased from as seller who taped all of his LPs on reel-to-reel and then stored the vinyl.  This is even more evident by the cover (see below).

PLAYBACK GRADE: AGAIN, STUNNING!  This LP was played on a Forsell Air-Force One and a Lyra Titan with spectacular results.  Clean, Crisp, Clear GLORIOUS MONO!  Dead quite background with only a hint of low-level noise only evident on quiet passages.

COVER GRADING:  THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE FIRST PRESSING COVER!

NEAR MINT!  If it means much at all this is simply the best I have ever see and I have seen many.  The cover has NO seam splits, NO feathering of the opening, NO writing, NO dinged corners, NO creases, NO stains or marks!  The back of the cover retains white flip-backs with only one 2” section with the slightest of discoloring!

INNER SLEEVE:  AGAIN, A FIRST PRESSING INNER SLEEVE and is crisp and clean with NO rips or tares!

Description:

Front Cover: Kaleidoscope picture of the band. The title, "PINK FLOYD" is at bottom center. EMI logo in upper left corner. Laminated flip-back cover.

Back Cover: Title, credits, and song listing. Catalog number in upper right corner. Unlaminated except for flip-backs. On the bottom flip-back it says "6709 TPS Printed and made by Ernest J. Day & Co. Ltd., London SX 6157 / SCX 6157."

Please Note:

Later issues say "File under POPULAR: Pop Groups." at the top right of the fold over.

Inner Sleeve: Black and white inner sleeve. On the front is the EMI logo at the top center, with "Add these outstanding LPs to your collection" at the top, 16 LP covers pictured in the middle including Both Sides of Herman's Hermits, and "Remember-the new Emitex cleans and preserves your records," and "Patents applied for" at the bottom.

On the back side is the EMI logo at the top center, with " - the greatest recording organization in the world" at the top, 16 LP covers pictured in the middle including the Beatles-Revolver, and "E.M.I. Records (The Gramophone Company Ltd.) Hayes - Middlesex - England, Made and Printed in Great Britain" at the bottom.

Please Note:

Later issues have different LPs pictured, such as the Beach Boys-Pet Sounds, and do not show albums by the Beatles or Herman Hermits.

Label: Black Columbia label with silver text, and a BLUE "Columbia Records Magic Notes Trademark" at the top, and a BLUE "Columbia" in the center. Underneath the BLUE "Columbia" it says "Sold in U.K. subject to resale price conditions. See price lists."

At the bottom of the label, it says "Made in Gt. Britain."

Text around the bottom edge of the label starts at 10 o'clock and says:

The Gramophone Co., Ltd. All rights of the manufacturer and of the owner of the recorded work reserved. Unauthorized public performance, broadcasting, and copying of this record prohibited.

Tax Stamp: On side 2 within the circle that is stamped around the spindle hole are the letters "K" and "T," one on each side of the spindle hole.
