PINK FLOYD
"The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn"
Extremely hard to find 1967 UK first pressing masterpiece 1st Floyd LP with the original line-up of SYD BARRETT, ROGER WATERS, RICK WRIGHT, NICK MASON, in their masterful psychedelic flight, original black & blue label Columbia SX-6157 MONO, with flip-back cover and 'Sold In UK....' label disclaimer.
Original 1967 flip-back laminated cover is in beautiful condition, no writing, no stickers, just a touch of 'age' on the non-laminated back cover. There is a very slight bend in the upper left corner otherwise no lamination creases or wear.
The LP itself is very nice, some slight evidence of sliding in & out of it's original paper inner sleeve and some mostly superficial play wear and minor marks, no serious defects. I noticed a touch of surface noise here & there but I think 95% of this would disappear with a professional cleaning. Sounds great, even in the quiet moments.
The labels are nice but side 1 had some sort of tiny initials stamped or etched in it near the center hole that have been carefully blacked in, but this is minor.
