No is SX 6157 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Blue/Black Columbia label (see picture) from 1967 and is a UK MONO 1st pressing!!!!  All the tracks are Pure quality Pink Floyd at their best!!!!  Any fan of Pink Floyd, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection - especially in this condition!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few VERY light spindle marks!!!!  The vinyl is in BRILLIANT visual condition (with the playing grade only VERY slightly less!)!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 3 or 4 MEGA light hairlines, only 3 or 4 VERY light scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!!  It is also great to find that the playing of the record is almost as STUNNING as the visual!!!!  It plays with NO pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some slight background sound on the run on grooves, gaps and VERY quietest parts of the music (though most of this LP is VERY loud indeed - and any background sound is completely ignored here!)!!!!  There is also NO groovewear and and only some VERY minor distortion in places!!!!  That said, this record still plays VERY well and looks BRILLIANT!!!!  And it also so VERY important to remember that this LP is a truly HISTORIC pressing and the EARLIEST one EVER MADE!!!!  And that makes it IMPOSSIBLY rare!!!!  Of course a MINT copy of this LP can (relatively) easily be picked up (although this LP still plays WELL and looks BRILLIANT!).  But just ask yourself - just HOW MANY people can claim to own the EARLIEST POSSIBLE '1/G 1/G' MONO 1st Pressing of this LP EVER MADE?  The answer is - virtually NONE!!!!  The record must visually grade Very Good+ if not better (with the playing grade only VERY slightly less than this!)!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press Black EMI Advertising 'Patents Applied For' inner sleeve which is in SUPERB condition!!!!  The 1st Press 'E.J.Day' Flipback Laminated Cover (with NO 'File Under Popular' text!) is in absolutely BRILLIANT condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking!), VERY shiny laminate, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!!  Even the unlaminated back is in STUNNING condition with NO grubbyness, NO ringwear, NO yellowing, NO rubbing, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good++++ if not better and looks BRILLIANT!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!

HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!!  It really is a GREAT looking LP and it is truly rare to find any copies of this MEGA RARE LP in this sort of condition!!!!  THIS WILL BE YOUR ONLY CHANCE TO BUY AN ORIGINAL 1967 UK 'EARLIEST' EVER' MONO 1ST PRESSING OF "PIPER AT THE GATES OF DAWN" BY PINK FLOYD, IN BRILLIANT CONDITION!!!!  Dont forget to take a look at all my other items including many other TOP LPs and contact me with any queries you may have.
