Description

A rare and possibly unique opportunity to bid for an authentic original white label pre-production test pressing of Pink Floyd's single 'Point Me At The Sky/Careful With That Axe, Eugene' issued by EMI in December 1968. Both sides of the disc have blank white labels which gives the name to these items. The name of Pink Floyd Side One has been hand written on one side whilst the date of 27 Nov 1968 has been stamped on both sides together with the matrix numbers.

Only a very limited number of these pressings would be produced, many of which would be destroyed, which means they are extremely rare. These two sides carry the matrix codings 7XCA32288-1 and 7XCA32289-1.

The disc comes in an original factory plain white sleeve. I have had it in my possession for over 30 years during which time it has been played a small number of times and therefore it remains in very good condition.
