Description
This is a genuine UK First pressing of this Prog Rock gem in fantastic condition.
The clear sign of a first pressing is the wording on the label perimeter which starts with "The Gramaphone Co. Ltd." Later pressings which have been sold as first pressings have the wording " EMI Record Company" instead.
Matrix Side 1 is SRS5071 A-1
Side 2 is SRS5071 B-2
This is part of a Record Collection belonging to a family member, who purchased them primarily as a collection and not for playing. I have others from this collection already listed and will be listing more so if you are a collector then maybe take a look at the others ?
Close examination of the Vinyl surfaces and the labels show just a few signs of the record being played. - some light spindle marks on labels and an area with some surface marks which look like finger marks on the vinyl which after playing turned out to have no effect on playback. It sounded great with just an occasional pop, not unusual for vinyl of any age.
Please examine the photographs. I will provide any additional close up photos on request.
The outer and inner sleeves are in very good condition having been kept in a protective plastic sleeve for 40 plus years
