THIS IS AN AUCTION FOR THE SECOND LP BY PINK FLOYD ENTITLED "A SAUCERFUL OF SECRETS".THIS IS A FIRST PRESSING RELEASED IN 1967 IN THE UK ON COLUMBIA RECORDS IN MONO CATALOGUE NUMBER SX 6258 WITH THE VERY EARLY MOTHER STAMPERS OF 1P/1M AND WITH THE BLUE WRITING ON BLACK LABELS.
THE ORIGINAL TRIPLE FLIPBACK E.J.DAY SLEEVE IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. THERE IS SOME STORAGE WEAR TO THE CORNERS [SEE PHOTO'S] AND SOME CREASING TO THE LAMINATE WHICH IS HEAVIER IN THE TOP RIGHT AND TOP LEFT CORNERS. THERE IS SOME LIGHT RINGWEAR. THE SPINE IS STILL CRISP AND CLEAN AND THE BANDS NAME CLEARLY VISIBLE.
THE VINYL HAS RETAINED AN EXCELLENT SHEEN AND LOOKS NICE. SIDE 1 LOOKS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH ONLY A FEW VERY VERY LIGHT SUPERFICIAL MARKS VISIBLE UNDER STRONG LIGHT. SIDE 2 IS VISUALLY IN VERY GOOD+ CONDITION WITH SOME VERY LIGHT MARKS VISIBLE. THE VINYL HAS THE MATRIX NUMBERS OF XAX 3633-1 AND XAX 3634-1.
I HAVE LISTENED TO THE RECORD AT GREAT VOLUME . IT SITS NICE AND FLAT ON THE TURNTABLE AND PLAYS THROUGH WITHOUT ANY SKIPS OR JUMPS. THERE IS SOME LIGHT BACKGROUND NOISE AND SOME LIGHT CLICKS DURING THE TITLE TRACK BUT I HAPPY E THE AUDIO AS VERY GOOD+. SIDE 1 COULD EVEN HAVE AN AUDIO GRADING AS EXCELLENT. OVERALL IT WAS STILL A PLEASURE TO LISTEN TOO ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU BEAR IN MIND THE AGE OF THE LP.
THE LABELS ARE IN VERY GOOD+ CONDITION. SIDE 1 HAS THE "K T" TAX CODE STAMPED OVER THE SPINDLE HOLE.
THE LP COMES WITH ITS ORIGINAL HARVEST INNER SLEEVE. THE LP WILL BE SENT IN A NEW INNER SLEEVE AND SEPERATED FROM THE MAIN SLEEVE.
OVERALL A GREAT RECORD IN NICE CONDITION.

The Lp will be sent in professional mailers and will be sent in the Uk at a cost of £3.00. The cost of postage in Europe is £8.00 which includes international signed for delivery as mandatory . Anyone bidding who does not have feedback will have their bid cancelled straight away. I am very sorry about this but again this is due to problems experienced in the past. Anyone without feedback and who wants to bid please contact me first.
Grading:- MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
