Pink Floyd: Syd Barrett, David Gilmour (vocals, guitar); Roger Waters (vocals, bass); Richard Wright (keyboards); Nick Mason (drums).Recorded at EMI Studios, London, England.Pink Floyd's second album is a hesitant transition from the baroque acid whimsy of PIPER AT THE GATES OF DAWN into the futuristic space rock the group would refine through DARK SIDE OF THE MOON. Recorded as Syd Barrett was messily leaving the band (Barrett contributes one track, the cacophonous "Jugband Blues," though rumors persist that he plays on at least a couple of others), the album finds the remaining members, including new guitarist Dave Gilmour, exploring their new roles in public. Keyboardist Richard Wright contributes two lovely, pastoral tracks, "Remember a Day" and "See Saw," that echo Barrett's familiar childlike whimsy, while bassist Roger Waters's contributions, along with the band-composed 12-minute title track, map out the pulsating throb and lengthy instrumental sections that would soon become Floyd's sonic trademark. Another key track is the satiric "Corporal Clegg," Waters' first exploration of antiwar themes.

I usually start auctions at a low price to generate interest in bidding

All items are graded Audio / Visually , and played on a high grade system

Please feel able to bid with confidence , as a collector myself I understand the requirements in the gradings of discs and sleeves , and how important it is to recieve items in the condition as advertised

I grade items ( using the UK Record Collector Grading System) beneath a light , to be sure of condition

I do not believe it is necessary to use the eBay buzzwords such as STUNNING !! RARE !! AWESOME !! , padded out with grossly long winded 'descriptions' ..... Many of the 'experts' who use this method of selling also add technical information , which is totally unfounded and does not correspond with the actual facts , and would be laughable but for the fact it is totally misleading. I take time and care to graded items correctly , and only list quality records , with concise , accurate grading descriptions

I have been a lifelong music fan , my first concert visit was in 1957 (Birmingham Town Hall Skiffle Contest !) and have bought records of all the great music since 1959 , and had the privelege of seeing most of the great artists 'live' ( I saw The Beatles twice and Segovia !)

I began selling professionally in 1976 , and have a wide knowledge of the items I sell (and always learning !) having bought copies of my own at time of issue , always being interested in the sleeve , label and disc variations. If you have any queries , I will do my best to answer correctly

Please check my feedback ratings , you will see that a large amount are from repeat buyers ( many thanks !) .... and in the event of genuine complaints will remedy the situation as soon as possible
