Description
Up for auction is an early pressing of Pink Floyd's "Saucerful of Secrets" (Tower ST-5131). It has ST5131-A1 and ST5131-B2 etched into the inner grooves. Not sure if it can be identified as first pressing though. I worked at a college radio station in 1968 and got it as a sealed "promo copy" (hole punched in the upper right hand corner). It was my second copy and was never played until I dug it out and played it (with a Stanton 681EEE) just prior to listing it. The sleeve is in great physical condition and it sounds beautiful with no ticks or pops.
Because of its age, it's being sold "as is" with a low opening bid and no reserve.
