Description
This is a beautiful example of an original 7" single by The Pink Floyd entitled 'See Emily Play' B/W 'Scarecrow'. It is their second single and was released in 1967. It is pressed on the original UK Columbia label (cataloge no. DB 8214) and features the original red and white company sleeve which is in Ex- condition with some very minor creasing but no tears. The music features the legendary Std Barrett and is a mono recording.
The record is in superb condition with some surface marks and minor surface noise on both sides but definitely no jumps or skips. The record features the four point centres which show no damage at all. There are some very minor spindle marks on both sides. The labels are the slightly textured type and are in fine condition. The labels are black with silver wording.
It states on the label of side one 'SOLD IN U.K. SUBJECT TO RESALE PRICE CONDITIONS SEE PRICE LISTS'. It states on side one 'MAGDALENE MUSIC, BIEM ESSEX MUSIC MECOLICO, NCE - 7XCA 30214 on the left side of the label. A small letter 'M' has been scratched into the label just above this but this is almost invisible and does not detract from the overall quality of the record. The producer is Norman Smith.
It states on side two 'SOLD IN U.K. SUBJECT TO RESALE PRICE CONDITIONS SEE PRICE LISTS'. It states on side two 'MAGDALENE MUSIC, BIEM ESSEX MUSIC MECOLICO, NCE - 7XCA 30215 on the left side of the label. On either side of the spindle hole are the letters K T which I understand are tax code numbers. These are embossed and slightley raised. The producer is Norman Smith.
The matrix numbers on the run-off grooves are - side one - 7XCA 30214 - 1 (stampers 2 LT) - side two - TXCA 30215 - 1 (stampers 1 LH).
I have graded the record Ex and I believe that this is very fair. The winner of this auction will not be disappointed. I guarantee everything I sell and any item can be returned for a full refund by the winner of an auction if not fully satisfied.
