THE RECORD .- This is a very rare and scarce 7" vinyl record. The first 45 released in Mexico and Latinamerica by Pink Floyd. It's a very hard to find piece because the song "See Emily Play"apears almost lost between three Pop songs in the Volume 15 of a series devoted to so-so bands from the british invasion.

THE COVER .- There are two diferent covers for this rare EP. The first one (the one which we are selling) features pink and orange color banners with the names of the songs in spanish language and writen with different typography. "See Emily play" (Mira como juega Emily) apears in the second row. This one was released in mid 1967.

The second version shows almost the same cover art, but with one little difference. It was released in early 1968 when "The Letter" (La Carta) by The Box Tops became a major hit in Mexico. Then the record company (Discos Gamma) decided to "redesign" the art and they puted "La Carta" at the top of the cover, writen in bold and in a larger size than the rest of the songs. "See Emily play" was moved to the third row.

The 1968 version is not easy to find, but the 1967 version is almost impossible to reach because they produced a very limited number of copies prior to the new design of the cover.

ITEM DETAILS.- 45 rpm EP pressed in Mexico by Discos Gamma (GX 07 463) in 1967. The record includes the following songs: "The last waltz", The Box Tops' "The letter" and Bobbie Gentry's "Ode to Billy Joe"... and next to them "See Emily Play" by Pink Floyd. The songs titles are printed in spanish. The cover features great graphics.

The vinyl is in near mint condition. There are no skipps. No scratches. Aparently it was played only two or three times. The cover shows some wear near the edge, but it remains complete, with no tears, ripps, torns or important creases.
