On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Pink Floyd called "Saucerful Of Secrets" and is an INCREDIBLY rare 1968 UK MONO 1st pressing!!! THIS LP IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND IN MONO!!!! IN FACT THIS IS EASILY THE RAREST PINK FLOYD LP TO FIND IN MONO!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN GREAT CONDITION AND NOT 'TRASHED' LIKE SO MANY OTHERS!!!! THIS IS THE 1968 UK 1ST MONO PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS BLUE/BLACK COLUMBIA LABEL, 'SOLD IN THE UK' TEXT, 1ST PRESS BLACK EMI ADVERTISING INNER SLEEVE, AND A 1ST PRESS 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' FLIPBACK LAMINATED 'PATENTS PENDING' COVER!!!! THIS LP IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND AS A MONO 1ST PRESSING - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! The Cat. No is SX 6258 on the 1968 1st Press MONO Blue/Black Columbia label (see picture) and is a MONO 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality Pink Floyd at their best!!!! Any fan of Pink Floyd, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection - especially in this condition!!!!
The record labels are in GREAT condition with NO writing and a few spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in GREAT condition!!!! Most of these LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and retains an absolutely STUNNING shine!!!! It has NO scratches, a few light hairlines, 1 NON sounding surface mark and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ALL OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the playing of the record is STUNNING as the visual!!!! It plays with only a VERY few clicks/pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, only VERY slight crackle in a VERY few places (though most of the record is crackle free) and only some very VERY low level background noise in places!!!! There is NO groovewear either and NO distortion. The record must grade Very Good+!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve!!!! The Garrod & Lofthouse Flipback 1st Press Laminated 'Patents Pending' Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! It has NO edgewear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a few light creases (Cover is still flat looking), shiny laminate and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in STUNNING condition with NO yellowing, NO writing, 1 small and VERY faint area of rubbing (NOT through the colour and virtually UNNOTICEABLE) and NO grubbyness!!!! The cover must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!! THIS LP IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND IN MEGA RARE MONO - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MASSIVE RARITY!!!!
