On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Pink Floyd called "Saucerful Of Secrets" and is an INCREDIBLY rare 1968 UK MONO 1st pressing on the 1st Press Blue/Black Columbia label!!!! THIS LP IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AND SERIOUSLY RARE!!!! BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP EVEN RARER STILL - IS THAT IT LOOKS AND PLAYS BRILLIANTLY!!!! AND THIS IS SERIOUSLY RARE ON THIS LP!!!! THIS LP IS FULL OF VERY COMPLEX SOUNDS AND MOST 1ST PRESSINGS (EVEN IF THEY LOOK NICE) PLAY TERRIBLY WITH HEAVY DISTORTION. BUT NOT THIS ONE!!!! NOT ONLY DOES THIS LP LOOK BRILLIANT - IT PLAYS BRILLIANTLY TOO AND THIS IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!! THIS IS THE 1968 UK MONO 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS BLUE/BLACK COLUMBIA LABEL, 'SOLD IN THE UK' TEXT, 1ST PRESS 'PATENTS APPLIED FOR' BLACK ADVERTISING INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' PATENTS PENDING LAMINATED FLIPBACK MONO COVER!!!! THIS LP IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AND SERIOUSLY RARE IN THIS CONDITION - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! The Cat. No is SX 6258 on the 1968 1st Press Blue/Black Columbia label (see picture) and is a MONO 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality Pink Floyd at their best!!!! Any fan of Pink Floyd, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection - especially in this condition!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition with NO writing, NO wear and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition and is VERY hard to find like this!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 MEGA light hairlines (only visible under EXTREME light), only 1 MEGA light NON sounding wispy scuffline, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under EXTREME light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! The record plays with NO pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, and only the VERY slightest VERY lowest level touches of background crackle in a VERY few places!!!! And this SERIOUSLY rare on this LP!!!! Even the gaps and run on grooves are virtually SILENT!!!! There is NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!! The record must grade Very Good++++ if not better and is INCREDIBLY hard to find in this condition!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve!!!! The Garrod & Lofthouse 'Patents Pending' 1st Press MONO Flipback Laminated Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! It has NO edgewear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a few light creases (cover is still VERY flat looking indeed), and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in BRILLIANT condition with NO yellowing, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL (virtually NONE), NO writing, and NO grubbyness!!!! This cover must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
