This is the exceptionally rare UK 1st press of 'Saucerful Of Secrets' by Pink Floyd. This rare and earliest press is complete with the 1/1 matrix and the very first mothers. The blue/black Columbia label has the essential 'Gramophone Company' and 'Sold In The UK' text. The record is complete with the very 1st Mono 'Patents Pending' laminated flipback Garrod & Lofthouse, Hipgnosis sleeve and the original EMI advertising inner sleeve.

The record is in Very Good condition. The vinyl has a sensational high gloss, there are just a couple of very light marks on both sides. The blue/black Columbia label looks superb. The blue is vivid and the black is completely unworn. The silver text is perfect and there is only light spindle wear. On playing the sound is bold, clear and complete. There are a couple of brief periods of light noise but otherwise the sound is Very Good. The record is in the earliest 'Patents Applied For' EMI advertising inner sleeve. This is in Excellent+ condition.

The 1st press, Hipgnosis, laminated flipback Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve is in Excellent condition. The black is bold, the colours are vivid and the white is crisp and bright. The laminate has a bright shine with just a couple of light creases and a little wear to the opening edge. The corners are firm. On the back the flipbacks clearly state the essential earliest 'Patents pedning' text and are complete and sealed. There are a few little creases. The black on the back is entirely unworn and the white is very sharp. There is no wear to the unlaminated back at all. The spine is firm with clear text and the whole cover feels very solid.
