PINK FLOYD - THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON 12" LP (Harvest label)

This is a very rare 1973 original 1st press 12" LP on Harvest (original solid blue prism labels - refer to photos) of the elusive album Pink Floyd - The Dark Side of the Moon.

The album comes complete with 2 original 1st press posters, 2 original 1st press stickers, 1 original 1st press gatefold sleeve with original black poly-lined window inner sleeve.

Country: UK

Label: Harvest

Year: 1973

Matrix numbers: SHVL 804 - A2 & SHVL 804 - B2

CONDITION (graded in accordance with the Rare Record Price Guide)

Labels: EX+

Both labels are crisp, clean, colourful and intact.  No writing or unwanted marks throughout.  There are a few wispy marks local to the spindle hole where the blue prism background appears to be ever so slightly lighter in colour although this is ONLY visible under my intensely strong halogen lamp (please refer to photos).  I would otherwise grade them as near mint.

Disc: EX+

Both playing surfaces are immaculate with a couple of tiny wispy paper marks on each side BUT ONLY visible under my intensely strong halogen lamp.  The vinyl looks absolutely stunning with a prestine shiny gloss throughout (please refer to photos).

Playability: Side 1 EX++ & Side 2 EX++

As new, I can only assume its hardly seen a turntable.

Posters: EX+

Both posters are crisp, clean, colourful and intact.  No rips, no tears, no writing or unwanted marks throughout.  There is an ever so slight local area of rippling to both posters where the posters have been folded, although I have to be honest I think the rippling could have been there as new.  Both posters are original with white border surrounds (please refer to photos)

Stickers: EX

Both stickers are clean, colourful and intact.  No rips, no tears, no writing or unwanted marks throughout.  No attempt has been made to remove these stickers from their backings.  Both stickers have printed 'PERMANENT' red texted backs with wavy sticker seams.  One sticker has rippled creases to both corners, although as mentioned before the backings are intact.  The other sticker has the same rippled creases to one corner and diagonally across the sticker (please refer to photos).

Cover: VG+

The original cover has a lightly blue tinged background and appears more matt than the subsequent pressings with more distinct black background and slightly glossy finish.  No rips, no tears, no writing throughout.  Spine intact.  However ever so slight white haze in places on both sides of cover which I can only assume as being early signs of ring wear.  Slight white scuffing to the corners of the spined edge of the cover and likewise for the corners at the opening edge of the cover.

Inner-sleeve: EX

Original black poly-lined window inner sleeve with 'Made in Great Britain' and two patent numbers all in white lettering (please refer to photos).  The original inner is slightly creased although no rips or tears throughout.
