Description
This rare original A2/B2 1994 UK release of The Division Bell is in very good condition. There are two scratches on Side Two and whilst visible they do not affect the audio too much. I have play tested the LP and overall the audio is excellent.
'Cluster One' does play with a little crackle though not particularly obtrusive. The remainder of the side plays with excellent audio and absolute minimal background noise, playing almost as new really.
The first three tracks on Side Two play with very clear audio and barely any static. However, there are two visible scratches towards the end of about 2cm each. You only hear light static on 'Keep Talking' but the interference is more noticeable on the first two minutes of 'High Hopes'. Thereafter though it plays cleanly with no interference.
The gatefold cover is in very good condition with some shelf wear. Whilst not major there is some creasing to the side of the spine and some rubbing on the corners. The record has also worn through at the top of the gatefold on the reverse. So whilst not perfect it is an acceptable gatefold if you are after a rare first press whilst not paying the usual exorbitant prices! The inside of the gatefold is actually in excellent condition.
The lyric inner (with 5 inch thumb notch) is as almost like new with hardly any wear at all.
